Here's Retro Runa V1.4. Your Low Poly Nostalgia Drone.

One day, on a Tuesday morning at the Drone Development Facility. A part-timer in charge of the inspection unit analyzed a fresh batch of processed drones. The analysis proved no imperfections, though the man overlooked a tiny detail which is the polycount on some of the drones that was considerably lower than usual. Resulting in the creation of some “defective” drones that were more blocky than the rest. 

The part-timer due to their negligence was shifted to the role of waste disposal and was never seen again, but for the blocky drones… All of them were ordered to be disposed of at first, but one of the higher-ups took a good look at one of them and gave him a unique feeling of nostalgia, something different compared to the rest of the drones. As a result, they were released to the public as special editions instead. I wonder where they’ll end up in the future…

Instructions:

1. Install and open VRC Creator Companion.
2. Open the VRC Creator Companion and Create an Avatar Project.
3. Import the Retro Runa unity package.
4. Upload each version of Retro Runa to their respective platforms.
5. All finished and check your avatar in Vrchat.

Make sure to use VRC Creator Companion when working on this avatar.

• Uses Poiyomi Toon 8.1 that's included in the package
  • 4 materials for Body, Hair, Mouth, and Expressions FX. Each of them contains multiple textures.

• Uses 1024p and 512p textures that are very pixel-like. 3 MB download size, 36 MB texture memory, both in .png and .psd format.
• The PC version has a Medium Rating due to 4 meshes and 9 physbone components (for feature reasons), a similar reason for the Quest version having a Very Poor Rating.
• 2D visemes when the avatar talks. (For PC and Quest, Simpler Visemes for Fallbacks)
• 9 total expressions that are activated using right-hand gestures and contacts.
• When you boop her nose or pat her head, she will change expressions. And when you poke her breast It both changes color and toggles her LEDs, :). (feature available on Quest)
• Blend shapes on the avatar contain 2D visemes, expressions, transparent effects, and hands shrinking for a toggle.

• Use the included Poiyomi Toon Shader if you want the avatar to match the pictures above, using different Poiyomi versions will not guarantee the same look.
